PARTNERING WITH THE PASTORS OF PARAGUAY
A new season of opportunity is upon us here at Heart to Hearts Ministries. This season originally began three years ago when God knit our hearts with our brothers and sisters in Paraguay. This past summer He strengthened those bonds. Now we are committed to assisting the Paraguayan local church leaders as they labor to “...equip God's people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11, NLT). So we stand at a new threshold awaiting God’s provision.

The Call
Ten years ago God gave us a vision to work with pastors. That vision became our goal as we entered a period of spiritual training. God changed the course of our lives so we could mature in our understanding of leadership, become more focused and accountable in the area of personal character, and grow in our appreciation for our need to depend on other believers in His Body to fulfill His calling in
our lives.
Our Prayer
In much the same way as Paul had a vision in which he heard the Macedonian believers crying out for help, we hear the pastors in Paraguay. Our desire is to be a blessing but we know our personal resources are limited. We serve a God, however, whose resources are limitless. Our prayer is that He would provide all that is necessary for us to complete the task He has given us.
The Twelve
Our goal is to provide assistance to the pastors who cannot afford to attend the National Conference without help by providing $12.00 per attendee. If twelve churches, a group or club (such as a Sunday School class), or individuals each give $1.00 per Paraguayan pastor attending the National Conference, that amounts to a $300.00 donation (we expect 300 pastors to attend). Of course, one could choose to send any number of pastors with a gift of $12.00 per pastor.
So far, one church and one individual were able to donate the full $300.00. We are now believing for ten more congregations or individuals willing to give $300.00 to help us provide scholarships for the pastors wanting to attend.
In addition, we are trusting God to provide the cost of our own airfare and visas (see response page).
Prayer Request
Pray for God’s heart to be heard as others consider what support they may be able to give. And ask God to reveal to you what role, if any, you might play in accomplishing His purpose in the nation of Paraguay.
¡Dios te bendiga! May God bless!
